What an amazing opportunity from Lenny Rachitsky
💥🧑🎓 Announcing: Lenny’s Newsletter Fellowship Program 🧑🎓💥 I’m launching a three-month fellowship program, and applications are now open. What is it: Work alongside me to learn how I do what I do, share your unique knowledge with the world (through guest posts), and jump-start (or simply explore) a newsletter/podcast career. Why: The best operators in the world are too busy doing real work to have time to write publicly or explore the newsletter or podcast life. I want to create a low-risk, low-friction way for you to unlock the knowledge in your head while benefiting the next generation of product builders and helping you explore the solopreneur path. How it works: This is a paid fellowship lasting three months (you’ll be paid $30,000), limited to three people, beginning in July (although timing is flexible). We’ll collaborate on guest posts and the podcast (and anything else that interests you), and you’ll leave with published content and a pre-built audience. Expect to spend 5 to 10 hours per week during the fellowship, all async and remote; location doesn’t matter. This is my first time doing this, so we’ll all learn as we go! Click below to learn more about the ideal applicant, the expertise I’m most looking for, and other logistics 👇 https://lnkd.in/gdqTcmCa

This was a really great discussion between Lex Fridman and Sam Altman (OpenAI). Particularly enjoyed the thoughts around 1) Long term memory + #ai , 2) SORA, 3) AGI, 4) Aliens https://lnkd.in/gpQ_VTcN

Happy International Women's Day to all the amazing Women out there, especially my incredible wife 💪 .
Women In Construction week is a focus on creating a sense of belonging and empowerment. It is also a point in time to reflect on how the construction industry has shifted and re-shaped over the years. PCL Construction Westcoast held a networking event to celebrate the women in our District and to give an opportunity for all project and office based employees to come together. This event meant a lot to me, because for most of my career I've been based at my project site. As a result, I don't often get to meet new employees or interact as much as I would hope with others, either on our different projects or at the home office. What blew me away, was that over half the women in our district were able to attend and loved having the ability to connect with one another. The energy was amazing, and the strength and knowledge of these PCLers is a true indicator of this years #WIC theme #keystothefuture It's hard to say what the industry's future holds, but I know I am truly happy to be a part of it! #InternationalWomensDay #WomeninConstructionWeek2024 #IWD2024 #wicweek #inspireinclusion #construction #PCL

Data IS the spice! “model behavior is not determined by architecture, hyperparameters, or optimizer choices. It’s determined by your dataset, nothing else. Everything else is a means to an end in efficiently delivering compute to approximating that dataset.” https://lnkd.in/dxjWq-qB
The “it” in AI models is the dataset.

Short but insightful from Sam Schillace, "There is no multi-agent. There isn’t even an “agent”. There is always only a series of disconnected prompts, with no state changing in the base model at all - all of the state is what is passed in, and no prompt is “aware” of the rest of the conversation beyond what’s passed to it." https://lnkd.in/gM3_9B52
We fool ourselves about memory
